Well, guys, I haven’t really shared this plan yet, except with my family and close friends, simply because it didn’t feel real. But now, the Cat(erina) is out of the bag: in less than three short weeks I will be leaving to Europe for a month!
“Big deal”, you’ll say. “Aren’t you like, from there?”. Um yes, I am. But this is completely different.
In fact, I’ll be part of a school program for international advertising that takes students to Munich, Germany, then Cannes, France and Amsterdam, Netherlands, to not only tour the cities but visit agencies there and network with advertising professionals. Plus, we’ll be having class everyday yet, and learn from a few cultural activities. Then, when that’s done, I’ll be squeeeezing a short weekend in my hometown of Milan, Italy.
Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful summer plan?
Well, there’s more. Something even more exciting – maybe not to everyone, but at least to me! During the week when we’re in Cannes, we will be attending the Cannes Lion festival, aka the most prestigious advertising festival in the whole world!! Seriously, people in the industry would kill to attend the Lions, so much that the festival itself has released a downloadable “Convince the CFO” kit for professionals to submit to their Financial Officer.
Anyway, yes. Advertising is super cool. But so are the destinations I will be visiting! Which means that lots of content will be coming your way. Here’s what to expect:
- A post on packing for a month in Europe;
- A post on making money FAST for a trip;
- A post on Munich, Germany;
- A post on Cannes, France and the Lions Festival;
- A post on French Riviera Day Trips;
- A post on Amsterdam
- Probably more posts from more places I’ll decide to visit when I’m there;
- Tons of Instagram posts! (If you don’t follow me, now’s the time to do so!)
I promise to share all the tips, and tricks, and good food, and cool sights that I’ll get to experience! So that when you get a chance to explore these beautiful places, you can check them out too! I’m especially excited for Amsterdam, it’s been on my list for such a long time and I cannot believe I will finally get to visit the city. But overall, I can’t wait to experience all of these locations from both a traveler and professional perspective!
With that said, if you have any recommendations on things to do in Munich, Cannes or Amsterdam, please comment them below!
