Hello friends from all over the world!

I’m Caterina, a 24-year-old travel junkie who, seven years ago, moved from her hometown of Milan, Italy, to Chicago, IL – hence the name of the blog! That move changed my life: in fact, it not only allowed me to be constantly inspired by the vibrant identities of these two cities, but it even opened my eyes to the beauty of traveling and the joy of being able to call many different places your home.

Here, you will find posts on Chicago, posts on Milan and posts on all the beautiful places around the world that I get to explore: I would love to share my passion for traveling with you, as well as my passion for food (they usually go hand in hand!). From time to time, you may also find a few reflections and thoughts on, you know, life and growing up immersed in two different cultures.

My hope is to inspire y’all to take a chance and – cliché alert – step out of your comfort zone. Go check out a place that you’re not familiar with, and let that experience fill you up with love and desire to see more of our magical world.

When I’m not traveling around, I work for an advertising agency downtown. I also translate articles for my friend Francesca at A Milano Puoi, and sometimes I write for her. I’ve written for Spoon University and College Fashionista too in the past.
